Description
Jaegermeister is a liqueur made from 56 herbs. The recipe for the liqueur has been around since 1934, and Jaegermeister is produced and bottled in Wolfenbuettel in Lower Saxony.
The Jaegermeister logo refers to the Hubertus legend and shows the head of a stag with a shining cross between the shoots of its antlers.
On the label of the bottle is the following poem by Otto von Riesenthal:
It is the hunter’s shield of honour
that he protects and cherishes his game,
hunts with the skill of a hunter,
honors the creator in the creature.
The Jaegermeister Stag of the City Austria Edition includes all 9 capitals of the provinces. The selection of the city motifs is random.
