Description
Guyana has one of the largest untouched rainforests in South America with a great variety of wildlife.
This close relationship with nature led the people of Guyana to choose the jaguar as a protected national animal, which consequently inspired the creation and naming of the rum “Jaguara” full of strength.
The long history of rum production in Guyana dates back to the middle of the 17th century. Jaguara is distilled in the English way with sugar cane molasses and small batch pot stills.
The result is a dark, rich and aromatic rum that matures for 15 years in bourbon casks.
