Description
The story of Martell begins around 1700, when Jean Martell traveled to Paris to produce a cognac from the best eau-de-vie. After his death in 1753, his wife Rachel Martell took over her late husband’s vision and successfully put it into practice. Under her leadership, cognac quickly became known in America and England and established itself as a symbol of luxurious taste.
This first-class Cognac is made from grapes from the four finest areas of the Cognac region: Borderies, Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne and Fins Bois. The Martell Blue Swift VSOP is matured for at least four years in French oak barrels before being transferred to Kentucky Bourbon barrels. This careful maturation and the exceptional combination of the best grapes give the Martell Blue Swift VSOP its incomparable, noble taste and its special note.
