Description
In 1987, the name giver Aurelio Montes, Pedro Grand, Douglas Murray and Alfredo Vidaurre founded the Montes winery in Chile. The vision of the winery is to conquer the entire world market with high-quality wines from Chile. Today, the winery cultivates about 750 hectares of vineyards and also produces their excellent wine in Argentina and California.
The Montes Classic Series includes wines that represent the outstanding value of Chile, making them true ambassadors.
Grapes are hand-picked and transported to the winery with extreme care to reduce grape damage to an absolute minimum.
The grape varieties used are: Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.
The vineyards of Colchaga Valley are among Chile’s best growing areas.
Elegance and exquisite fruit make this wine almost irresistible to the Merlot lover.
Aging in American oak barrels gives the red wine structure, finesse and good storage potential.
