Description
Intense ruby red in appearance. Aromas of ripe fruit, plum, tobacco and a slight spiciness. On the palate it has soft tannins, enveloping with a persistent aftertaste. Pairs well with grilled red meats, boiled meats, soups, cured meats and aged cheeses.

The certified organic Mormoraia 2021 Chianti Colli Senesi Haurio has a lot of bold primary fruit that feels ripe and soft in texture. Those primary notes are layered into toasted spice and sweet oak. In all, the wine reveals a medium to large mouthfeel, and much of that extra texture is driven by sweet ripeness. The wine is aged in both stainless steel and oak. Some 30,000 bottles were released.
