Description
The Nonino distilleries are unique in the world in that they have five artisan distilleries, each equipped with 12 discontinuous copper steam stills. Each of these distilleries represents a family member, and in addition, there is a steam still for each grandchild, illustrating the continued dedication to the art of distillation within the family.
In 1973, the Nonino family first introduced the production of their Grappa Monovitigno, made from pomace from Picolit grapes. Pomace is the solid residue left after pressing the grape.
Nonino Grappa Monovitigni Single Grapes is made from pomace of Pinot, Prosecco and Malvasia grapes. Distillation takes place in a copper steam still.
