Description
The Nonino distilleries are unique in the world as they have five artisanal distilleries, each equipped with 12 discontinuous copper steam stills. Each of these distilleries represents a family member, and in addition there is a steam still for each grandchild, demonstrating the continued dedication to the art of distillation within the family.
In 1973, the Nonino family first introduced the production of their Grappa Monovitigno, made from pomace. Pomace is the solid residue that remains after the grapes have been pressed.
Nonino Grappa Monovitigno Vendemmia is produced by distilling the pomace residue from Pinot and Malvasia grapes in a copper steam still.
