We also have just two bottles of the elegant and highly coveted Super Tuscan from Ornellaia. The 2022 vintage is being called “La Determinazione,” which has a double meaning that represents the determination of their technical team and the resilience of the Ornellaia vineyards. The blend is 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc, and 10% Petit Verdot. The resulting wine is beautifully subtle and concentrated with chewy tannins, a distinct stony quality, and a freshness that doesn’t always show up in Super Tuscans.
