Description
The Penfolds winery is one of the oldest wineries in Australia. It is located in the south of Australia and comprises the growing regions Barossa Valley, Eden Valley, Coonawarra and McLaren Vale.
Bin 389 is often referred to as “Poor Man’s Grange” or “Baby Grange” because some components of the wine are aged in the same barrels as the wines of the previous vintage.
The Bin 389 has been produced since 1960 and is always a blend of different regions and the two varieties 53% Cabernet Sauvignon and 47% Shiraz.
