The rum trading company POTT was founded in 1848 by Hans Heinrich Pott in Flensburg. Since its foundation, the company has had a long and distinguished history in rum production.
POTT rum is made from molasses, a by-product of sugar production, and is characterized by its high quality.
The nickname “der Gute” (the good one) was given to the POTT brand because of the outstanding expertise of its founder and owner, Hans Heinrich Pott.
Today, the name POTT “der Gute” continues to stand for high-quality rum, produced with care and carefully aged.
