With the 2013 vintage, we are pleased to present the next generation of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon from Robert Craig Winery. Our primary mission is to produce wines that feature pure site expression, and this new Cabernet Sauvignon bottling is no exception. Selected half from our estate vineyards, half from exceptional vineyards around the valley, we present this plush, beautifully structured wine, with the depth and power you expect from a Classic Napa Valley Cabernet. As Affinity moves to a single-vineyard bottling, this wine steps in to take its place in our portfolio. Despite an inherent suppleness, the 2013 Affinity Cabernet will cellar easily for decades to come.

The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain has an inky purple color that is certainly as saturated as any in the impressive Robert Craig lineup. This is 88% Cabernet Sauvignon and 12% Merlot with similar élevage as the other wines. Beautifully sweet tannin, whole berry, blackberry and graphite notes are present in this full-bodied, opulent, delicious Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon. The color is an opaque purple, the wine expansive, savory and impressive. Drink it over the next 20 years.
