Description
Rochelt schnapps is made exclusively from carefully selected apricots from the Wachau region. The hand-picked fruit is cleaned immediately after harvesting and processed into mash on the same day. Rochelt uses a traditional method in which the natural, additive-free fermented mash is double-distilled in copper kettles. The schnapps then matures for at least 7 years in the attic, where it develops its full aroma. During this long storage period, it develops an impressive smoothness and a pleasantly mild taste.
The result is an exquisite schnapps that perfectly brings out the essence of Wachau apricots and delights connoisseurs.
