This “old” version has NOT yet been produced and matured using the Solera process.

The 30 Aniversario is a limited edition bottling for the 30th anniversary of Zacapa. Made from pure “Sugar Cane Honey”, this rum was matured in the Solera system at over 2400 meters above sea level. The rum was stored in barrels that had previously been used to store bourbon whiskey and sherry wine – among them Pedro-Ximenex for the most part. In addition, a considerable amount of French oak barrels, which had contained sweet muscatel, were also used. A fantastic blend of rums that were married for over a year and have an average age of 23 years. Simply the perfect balance of complexity of aromas and taste.
