In 2000, Fred Schrader created Double Diamond as part of his continuing quest to make the best Cabernet Sauvignon that Napa Valley can offer. With the recent success of our 2019 vintage, rewarded the 2022 #1 Wine of the Year by Wine Spectator, we are thrilled to offer you a limited supply of our renowned 2016 vintage. The palate remains rich and fruit forward with notes of ripe black fruits, dark cherry, dried herbs, and baking spices, and the tannins have softened over time, putting this wine in its prime drinking window now.
