As an independent bottler, Signatory has the opportunity to acquire selected casks from across Scotland that are normally used in blends and market them under its own label as single malts. This process involves the targeted selection of specific distillations or batches from the distilleries, meticulous tasting of each cask and the bottling of only the highest quality casks from each batch.
Each Signatory bottle reflects the individual characteristics of a single cask – from taste and color to age profile. The uniqueness of each bottle of Signatory Scotch is guaranteed by precise details such as the date of distillation, the date of bottling and the cask and bottle number, providing connoisseurs with traceable quality and authenticity.
This whisky is part of Signatory Vintage’s Cask Strength Collection and is matured for 12 years in a first fill sherry butt.
