The distillery is equipped with a turbine and a dam, meaning the river lends a hand when it comes to providing Deanston with power. Thanks, Mother Nature! As we mentioned, the distillery was founded in the 60s – that’s when all the hippies existed, with their jazzy t-shirts and headbands and whatnot. Hence why our Deanston label has a pair of hippies watching the stills of Deanston be installed. Far out! Groovy! Another phrase a hippy might say! Yeah!
