The Glenlivet Distillery is Scotland’s first licensed whisky distillery. The company was founded in 1824. Today, it is the largest malt distillery in Scotland, producing around 12 million liters of whisky annually.
The Glenlivet 18 Years is a premium single malt whisky.
It comes from one of Scotland’s most famous valleys, the Livet Valley. The River Livet flows here, embedded deep in the valley and running underground for several kilometers in some places.
For this reason, the mountain-situated distillery has a constant supply of fresh, and above all, pure, and clear water.
The Glenlivet 18 Years Old is a combination of two cask types: American oak and ex-sherry casks.
