Description
After being distilled from freshly pressed sugar cane juice, the 51st edition of the Tres Hombres series was stored for ten years in former bourbon barrels on La Palma. It was then transferred to selected barrels that previously contained Ruby Port, Palo Cortado and Moscatel for transportation by sea. During the five-month, almost 10,000-mile voyage on the sailing ship Tres Hombres, the constant movement of the ship intensified the rum’s contact with the wood of the barrels, giving the final product a special finish.
The bottle labels are adorned with motifs of the Tres Hombres and its adventurous voyages. The bottles are sealed with natural corks and sealed with beeswax.
This wax is enriched with color pigments that are ground from natural materials in a traditional windmill in Zaandam, giving the bottles an authentic and environmentally friendly finish.
