With a ruby-red colour, the lively nose exhibits notes of red berry fruits, cherries and redcurrants, and slightly spicy overtones. The mouth is full and plush, with silky tannins and a juicy finish.

The 2020 Rosso di Montalcino is wildly attractive, with sweet violet florals, sugar dusted blackberries and smoke forming its bouquet. It washes across the palate with grace, soft-textured and round, while leaving a staining of wild berries under an air of blue and purple floral perfumes. Gently tannic, yet more of an accent than an obstacle, the 2020 finishes with medium length, leaving hints of licorice to slowly fade.
