Lots of strawberries, wildflowers, spice, and peppery notes emerge from the 2020 Châteauneuf Du Pape Clos Du Calvaire. Medium-bodied, with a supple, elegant texture, sweet tannins, and a great finish, it’s another terrific 2020 from this estate that will shine for a decade.This was a little bit of a hit or miss lineup from this estate. I found some of the 2019s to come up short on balance as well as showing some firm tannins.
