Made from 100% malted barley. Distilled in a distillery. Mashed, distilled and matured in the USA. Matured in oak barrels (smaller than 700 liters). Distilled to no more than 160 proof/80% by volume. Bottled at 80 proof/40 vol. % or more.
The answer and interpretation of Westward Whiskey:
Take two-row barley grown and malted in the Northwest. Every drop comes from the distillery in Portland, Oregon. Malted, distilled and matured in the heart of the American Northwest. Matured in new American, lightly charred, 53-gallon oak barrels. Distilled to approx. 142 proof/71 vol.%. Bottled at 90 proof/45% by volume.
The American single malt rests for 3 years and is blended into small batches by “mingling” with no more than 10-20 casks.
Neither chill-filtered nor colored.
