Description
Ypioca is one of the best Brazilian cachaca and is distilled from sugar cane.
The cachaca then matures for at least two years in Frejus barrels – a special type of Brazilian wood – which gives it its unique taste.
The addition ‘Envelhecida’ (in English ‘old’) indicates that at least 50% of the cachaca has matured for at least one year in a wooden container with a maximum capacity of 700 litres.
The bottling is done in hand braided Empalhada raffia bottles.
